i needed a rail system for several add ons but I didnt want to buy a new stock. This system bolted on with no machineing. I can still see down the own sites thru a small hole in the to rail but not as well as I hoped. I may be able to modify it to mount up side down and improve site visibility. I wouldn't trust a scope to maintain accuracy on this system. makes the front of the gun very heavy.

Well this rail is great its light weight fits perfect a comes with rubber rail covers and looks awesome the only down falls are the cleaning rod will not fit unless you do some major filing and cutting also BUY NEW BOLTS don't use the ones it comes with they strip the second time you take off the rail for cleaning the gas tube other than that i love it

I got this product in days before it was scheduled to be and love it! Ease of installation, product quality, and looks are top notch. Used it to put a reflex sight on my sks and foregrip bipod. I was considering the scout scope mount at first but I'm glad I went with this. Money well spent. Some reviews talk about the bottom rail being to short but it's just right for me being 6'3".
