Ok, so I have a bit to say about this product and hopefully it helps you. I have an extensive background in firearms and Law Enforcement. I have done my research on at least 30 different red dot and holographic scopes and this is what I came up with for this green dot.
First, lets be honest, this scope looks like a Trijicon and that's one of the reasons you are thinking about buying it. That's one of the reasons I did. It will meet that expectation. It looks great mounted on an AR!
I bought this green dot for a Rock River 5.56 Ar-15. It sits great on the top rail at a good eye level.
At first a was a bit disappointed with the "fiber optics" that the scope claims to use. I was inside in a half lighted room and could not see the dot very well. If you go outside in the sun or are in a well lite room, that dot pops clear as day. If you go into a dark room and kick on the back up battery, it pops really clearly again. But, in half lighted rooms, the dot is dim. That is not to say that you cannot see it, in fact, i prefer it dim so that way so you can clearly pick out targets through the sight at, oh lets say, 200 yards.
Once zeroed, (which was super easy to do)it stays right on target as you hammer away. It was REALLY easy to get a one inch grouping at 50 yards. You don't need to do any better than that. It stayed zeroed after 100 rounds of .223.
This scope is worth the money you pay, I would suggest you buy it and try and prove me wrong. I even know a police officer who used this exact scope on patrol and loved it.
(As a side note, mine got damaged in the mail and after emailing the customer service, they got back to me right away and replaced it. They were quick and pleasant to do business with).

Product was shipped quickly upon ordering. After receiving the product, I put it on my Smith and Wesson M&P and put about 100 rounds down range with it. This is an excellent quality optic and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good quality optic without the expensive price tag. Works just as well as any Acog I have ever used, and unlike some of these reviews, I have had no problems with it in bright light or in complete dark, it was also easy to sight in.

Here's my background: Im a 6 yr United States Army Infantry Vet, I've qualified expert on both the M4 and M249 S.A.W., aswell as being Javelin ($1.2 M shoulder fired rocket) certified. I've used everything from Aimpoint to Thermal sights (including eo techs, Trijicons and Leapolds), and I'm surprised to find one at such a "managable" price, but here's my experience:
I ordered my optic from Amazon, and received it quickly. At my 2nd trip to the range, a washer popped up by the rear lense blocking about 15% of my view. It functions perfectly still, and kept zero after abuse from 200 rounds worth of 3-5 round bursts. Here's a worthwhile mention, the dot is actually brighter/crisper outdoors, but still works well inside indoor ranges.
In fairness to this company, I haven't contacted them yet. I will do that upon completion of this. So far I love this optic, just not happy about the "washer incident". I'm still debating on buying 2 or 3 more for $80. Id rather buy this than something else made in China.

First off, their customer service is pretty good! I couldnt talk to a person on the phone, but after confirming with them via email, I sent my sight in on Friday afternoon and got my replacement Monday night!!! If that isn't speedy, I dont know what is!! Once again, the new sight I recieved functions as a "true fiber optic sight" and look's built to handle the recoil from an M4/AR15 as much as any ACOG Ive used! If this holds zero which Im pretty sure it should; then the $80 ($100 now) is WELL WORTH IT!! Again, I'd like to note that my last sight remained zeroed even after the "part" came out of place!! This thing is awesome!!!

(UPDATE 02/28/2012)
I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS OPTIC! I took it out to the range yesterday to zero and test how well it holds its zero. It preformed great!! No loosening of parts, the dot was crisp and bright, and best of all; it held zero down to the last bullet on my AR15. I would take this thing to combat!!
I do have two VERY minor complaints. First, the dial seems to be opposite from what it usually is, no biggie. It works well! Second, the 6 MOA for this optic is pretty big, all that really means is that the further out you shoot the harder the pin point accurracy gets (compared to other "dot" sights). Im running my optic on a CQB style setup anyways, so this sight is pretty dominant for that.
Also, it'd be cool if the mfg's made this in Dark Earth and w/ a smaller MOA size and a better reticle (maybe a chevron?), but at this price who cares? Also, I would like to see a magnifier for this too. Although I may have to shop around until I find one that matches up right. Ill definately be purchasing more for future AR15 builds.
