After installing this item on my Ruger LCP, I took aim on a light switch toggle approximately 30 feet away. I was impressed to see the bright red dot line right up with the iron sights. No adjustment needed - at least with mine :)
The injection molded parts are of high quality, and fit snugly on the trigger guard. Close inspection is needed to determine this is not part of the Ruger OEM grip frame. Excellent design, fit, and finish.
The activation button rests under the pad of my extended index finger when drawing or holding at-ready (I'm 6'2"). Centering the ambidextrous switch turns the laser off. This is a nice feature, as returning the gun to the holster naturally centers the switch and turns the laser off.
I carry this gun in my right-front pocket using a Desantis Super Fly pocket holster # M44BJG5Z0. The holster was originally designed to accommodate a Crimson Trace laser, but is a great fit for the LaserMax unit.

This product is very well designed and fits the LCP perfectly. I love the ambidextrous activation. I would have given 5 stars, but I did have one hiccup when using. After about the 50th round fired after installation, the laser went very dim as if the battery was dying. I toggled the switch back and forth and still had a dim light. I turned it off and fired a couple more rounds. I turned it back on and it starting working again and has worked since. I'm hoping it was just a minor glitch. For the amateur shooting the LCP, accuracy can be difficult at 10+ yards. This laser sight will most definitely help with accuracy.
